In order to bring awareness about the various amendments taken place in the year 2012 under various Acts such as The Banking Regulation Act, 1949, the SARFAESI Act, 2002, RDDBFI Act, 1993, The Maharashtra State Co-operative Societies Act 1960 etc, and proposed Model Bye Laws and their impact on the working of the Urban Co-operative Banks, the Maharashtra Urban Co-operative Banks’ Federation Ltd. had organized one day Seminar for the Chairpersons/Directors/CEOs and representatives of Co-operative Banking Sector. The seminar was arranged for Kokan, Nasik and Pune Division on February 26, 2013 in Pune & for Marathwada, Amravati & Nagpur Division on March 12, 2013 in Nagpur. The Chief speakers in the Seminar were
a) Shri S. Karuppasamy, Executive Director, RBI expressed his views on Amendment to the Banking Regulation Act, 1949
b) Shri M.R.Umerji, Chief Advisor Legal , IBA expressed his views on Amendments to the SARFAESI Act, 2002 and RDDBFI Act, 1993.
c) Shri Vidyadhar Anaskar Chairman, MUCBF shared his views on Amendment to the Maharashtra State Co-operative Societies Act 1960 in accordance with the 97th Constitutional Amendment and proposed Model Bye Laws.
