The Federation had organized a workshop at free of cost for newly entered directors of UCBs, so as to provide an essential foundation for them to take proper decisions, participate actively in the meeting, resist management fads, misuse of powers by others. In brief, these workshops were aimed at helping them to make wise decisions that create a long term value. The workshop for newly entered directors alongwith experienced directors was held on November 19, 2022.
The following faculties imparted training to the Directors:
1) Shri Ranjeev Shanker, G.M., RBI imparted training on Role and Functions of Directors, Regulatory Expectations from Directors of UCBs for Strengthening the Sector etc.;
2) Shri Vidyadhar Anaskar, then Chairman of the Federationimparted training on Effective Participation of Directors in Decision-making process in Board and other Meetings, Emerging Banking Concepts, their Aims and Objects, Important Provisions in various important Acts related to Banking, Co-operative Culture, Core Values and Ethics, etc.`
